Xcubicle (New York): What is xCubicle? During the day, we're a hybrid tech shop specializing in electronics rework & Drupal web development. At night the space transforms into a skill share hackerspace to host meetups and workshops where like minded folks can come together to share resources and knowledge. We're a big fan of IDEO's philosophy (Video) of "Design Thinking" and working towards integrating this into our space and company. Why we do what we do? We love technology and love taking things apart to see how it ticks. Its either in hardware or software and we were able to combine those two in what we do everyday. Having such a unique setup, we want to attract others with skills and give them an outlet using our space to foster new and growing meetup communities. How long have you been in business? Since 2007 for the repair business, but some of us have been web/tech freelancers since 1999.
