Our Espresso Bean is Tonys very best: Ganesha. A locally roasted bean that not only was awarded 94 points (much like a wine testing high), but was the Winner of the 2013 Americas Best Espresso Competition in Seattle. And our Machines are La Marzocco. A company that has a world renown reputation for making beautiful, high quality, superbly crafted and uniquely designed machines. And even though we are using what we believe to be the best product in the best machine possible (the GB/5), we know full well that it is the hand of the barista which allows each specially crafted drink to reach its full potential. So our baristas are continually challenged to create a more pure flavor with each shot of espresso they pour. It is an art that can never be perfected, but will always be strived for. If you are looking for more than a pure artisan drink, then look no further than the Union Coffee Shops wonderful baked goods, baked in house by our wonderful baker, Elena.
