Stretch (Vancouver): Stretch was conceived in 2012, from a desire to connect the currents of yoga in Vancouver, bringing together the vast range of traditions and practices in a way that supports dialogue, creativity and growth. Stretch was founded by partner(d)s Boyd and Emmanuelle who decided to collaborate to offer the yoga they had been seeking to their own neighborhood and community, bringing together the teachers who are committed to their practice and dedicated to their students. At Stretch, we regard yoga as an empowering and transformative practice. We believe that yoga is more than asana and should be available to everyone, regardless of ability, body type and age. We admire and encourage endless pursuit of knowledge and believe that yoga can be a catalyst for community building and social change.
