Stillpoint Community Acupuncture (Victoria): Stillpoint Community Acupuncture opened as a response to the high cost and inaccessibility of acupuncture for the average person. By charging for treatments on a sliding scale starting at just $20, we create a healing environment where people from all walks of life and all income brackets can come to be treated.We operate as a 'Social Enterprise' which means that any profits generated get returned to the clinic in the form of hiring more staff, or expanding our hours so we can further benefit our community.To us, community acupuncture means three things:1. Affordable: We offer our patients a sliding scale for our services, meaning they can pay anywhere from $20-50 with no proof of income required.2. Effective: Because our patients can actually afford the treatments they really need, their acupuncture is more effective. Acupuncture if cumulative, meaning the more you get the stronger the effect!3. Natural: Our patients don't have to worry about adverse side effects from their treatments, unless you count relaxation, elevated mood, decreased stress and better sleep "adverse".We are a place to come and get away from it all in a safe and peaceful environment. Our Westshore location has been open for over three years and during that time we have experienced the joy of creating a connection with our community. We are now excited to be able to offer our services to Victoria residents at our Vic West location, on the corner of Russell St. and Craigflower Ave.
