Murphy's Taproom (Manchester): Murphys Taproom opened in April of 2007 in the gas light district of downtown Manchester, New Hampshire. The Irish pub feel to the location is the vision of founder and co-owner Keith Murphy. When Murphys first opened it consisted solely of the front room of 494 Elm Street. Over the past six years there have been numerous additions to the establishment, to include a back room where local bands perform when the deck is not open, a 300-person, two-story outdoor deck that hosts events and live music throughout the spring, summer and early fall months, and a diner next door to the Taproom that serves breakfast all day (as well as numerous other offerings). Recently, Murphys increased their draft offerings to 120 the largest in the State of New Hampshire, and one of the largest in the nation.
