Kettle Coffee & Tea (Escondido): Kettle Coffee and Tea features fresh, locally roasted coffee and award winning espresso from Klatch Coffee Roasters. Roaster Mike Perry has been sourcing and roasting for over 20 years. His relationships with farmers and hard work behind the roaster and at the cupping table have won Klatch many awards including micro-roaster of the year. Occasionally, Kettle offers special selections from other micro roasters. Our weekly coffee menu is also available in retail bags to take home or to the office: always fresh and responsibly sourced! Kettle offers three different methods for brewed hot coffee: Chemex, French Press and Beehouse pour-over, and two methods for iced coffee: slow drip Kyoto and immersion cold brew. Careful attention is given to proper espresso extraction and milk steaming as an essential part of Kettles espresso drink menu. Additionally, Kettles baristas craft drink recipes for our seasonal menu using unique, natural ingredients. The tea lattes on our menu are made with premium loose-leaf teas. Kettles beloved chai latte and ginger spiced chai latte are made from scratch: brewed using loose-leaf tea and meticulously cooked with fresh ginger and natural sweeteners like honey.
