Brisom (Manila): Brisom is an electro/indie band from Manila, Philippines who has a soulful rock sound and carries the same straightforward clarity with lyrics from the heart. The band was formed in 2012 and have been playing in numerous gigs in the bar circuit, participated in benefit concerts/shows and have performed in numerous music festivals such as Sonic Carnival (December 2013), Summer Siren Festival (April 2014), Wanderland International Music Fest (May 2014) and Fete dela Musique (June 2014). They also fronted for Dave Elkins (of MAE) in November 2013 for the Manila leg of his Asian tour. Separately, Brian has also performed in a few bars/gigs in Singapore. The band was recently nominated as Best Emerging Band for the Yahoo Celebrity Awards and was part of their campus tour, Yahoo on the Road. Brisom launched their EP “Perspectives” last March 2014 and has since received nothing but raves and awes from critics in the local music scene. They were featured as Artist of the Month (July 2014) for Radio Republic and is the first Filipino artist to accept bitcoin as payment.
